Mail and Cows

I find out on friday where my 2-year pleacement is!! I'm ultra-super-hyper-excited about it, and I'll be sure to post up here once I know and you can do some research on it and tell me all about it. With that in mind, and the fact that I leave Uzunagash in early November, I recommend not sending anything to my address in Almaty after October 15th. I'll post a new address in early November where you can send Thanksgiving and Christmas packages... lots and lots of packages (hehe).

And - today I walked home from school behind a herd of cattle. Yes, a herd. 60 or so cows were just putzing along the middle of the road, blocking all kinds of traffic and not caring at all about it. Oh Kazakhstan, how you amuse me.

Lessons and Russian are going very well, and the weather is pretty chilly and today a bit drizzly. We've turned on the heat in the house, which is nice. We also have a soccer tournament planned this weekend for a secondary project, so I'll be sure to report on that later.
