furry pets

I got this email from a woman from the PC office in Almaty:

All,

I realize many of you do not have ready access to email but, for those of you that do, the temps are forecast to fall to -42C tonight in Pavlodar and the cold weather is heading to Ust area as well. I'm being told there is a problem with the buses running in Pavlodar because it is so cold.

Please, please be very careful out there; it doesn't take that much for exposed skin to become frostbitten. I don't want to see you in the office with blackened fingers and toes so please wear your entire wardrobe while outside and bring the blankets from your bed as well. Share you blankets with friends, acquire large furry pets, sleep in front of the stove, get a face mask…..

Just stay warm.
